Day 1: Lake Tana Monasteries – Boat Excursion

Begin your journey with a scenic boat trip on Lake Tana, visiting centuries-old island monasteries known for their ancient manuscripts, murals, and religious traditions.

Day 2: Blue Nile Falls – Drive to Gondar

After an early breakfast, drive to the spectacular Blue Nile Falls (Tis Issat). Enjoy the views before continuing to Gondar, arriving in the late afternoon. Check in, relax, and gather for dinner.

Day 3: Gondar – Simien Mountains National Park

After breakfast, drive to Simien Mountains National Park. Enjoy your first encounters with dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, and wildlife.

Day 4: Trekking Sankaber – Chenek

After breakfast, begin a 6-hour trek through breathtaking mountain scenery toward Chenek Campsite. Picnic lunch will be served along the trail. Look out for Gelada baboons, lammergeyers, and stunning viewpoints.

Day 5: Simien Mountains – Gondar (Fasil Castles)

Early morning trekking followed by a return drive to Gondar. If time allows, visit the famous Fasil Ghebbi (Royal Enclosure), a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring 17th-century castles and palaces.

Day 6: Fly Gondar – Lalibela | Rock-Hewn Churches (First Group)

After breakfast, transfer to Gondar Airport for your flight to Lalibela. In the afternoon, begin exploring the First Group of Rock-Hewn Churches, carved entirely from solid rock over 900 years ago.
